i was at my school and went to speedtest.net and they have 100mbps i was wondering how businesses and places like schools get such good internet speeds and if or how i could get that speed at my house

They have Fiber Optic Cable.

They've spent money for it. If you want this kind of service, you'll have to pay what they have.

The area you live in has to be wired for that type of speeds and the ISP has to be capable of doing it.If it's offered in you area then you can get it.It will be a top tear plan and won't be cheap.I can't think of any reason a home would need that in less there are a lot of users on the internet at one time.Even a gamer doesn't need it.My area's top speed is 50,I take the 20 mbps speed and can watch HD movies on my tv and be on my computer and have no loss of speed.
