Click edit, then preference and in the general tab you type in the home page you want. Once you do that close the browser and then reopen it. Once you are in the home page reopen preference and click use current page. Close the browser and reopen it. It should go to your home page ever time you open the browser. Or you can type the web address of it and create a book mark you can click on which is the way I do it because I don't always want to be on a home page.

I hate that too. To fix it, click on the orange box that says "firefox" on top left, click options (don't click on the arrow, just the word), click the general tab, then where it says "when firefox starts" make sure it is on "show my home page". Then in the box below that enter the website you want to be your homepage, click on ok, restart firefox, and your done!
