could they track him down? - flashjazzz - 04-11-2014 01:52 AM

My best friend got pissed at his baby momma and posted a false CL add about her in the personals with her phone number. (We all told him not to do it but he's stupid sometimes and doesn't listen) if she goes to CL or the cops can they track him down?

Yes, absolutely.

First, anyone old enough to have children isn't a "baby momma" or "baby daddy". Stop infantilising them and maybe they'll behave like adults.

And yes, if someone starts harassing her via the ad he posted, or he continues this type of petty harassment then it is possible he can be tracked down. At the moment, he hasn't done anything beyond getting a severe scolding. If he keeps doing this, he will be hit with harassment and possibly stalking charges. He needs to knock it off. It's not worth jail time.
