Google updating their algorithms it affects the SEO's Performance. That's the big challenge for SEO's. We have to follow the updates by Google because we want rankings in that search engine. Recent changes are Hummingbird Algorithm and Penguin update.

As Google gives top priority to content diversity, many small businesses are finding it difficult to cope up with the circumstances. As an example, think about a small handbag manufacturer company who just produces women vanity bags. However, he has that required certification and quality to come out as an excellent bag manufacturer. Although, It just impossible to create a new content on a regular basis as this company would not have that sufficient amount of content to deliver. Therefor Google should recheck their policies regarding ranking otherwise small business owners would suffer in the end.
