Ebay Help Me Please?!? - Kitty - 04-11-2014 12:32 PM

I received an offer for an item I'm selling, I accepted ,so now the person hasn't even payed me, it was sold the 29th, do I delete it or relist it? How do I cancel? I have not shipped it. Am I supposed to keep waiting?

Thanks for any help.
@dourdan, wow maybe something nicer, like he went on a tropical vacation and didn't bring his laptop/phone, or maybe no internet...lol, thanks anyways.

After 72 hours you can go to the resolution center and file a no pay report. The party that purched then have 4 days to pay or that receive a no payer report on their record and all fees paid by you will then be credited back. Do not relist it until the time is up. It's not unusual for someone not to pay for 3 days. After the dispute is settled and they have not paid and case is closed feel free to relist.

it is rude for them to keep you waiting but you never know; maybe the buyer got hit by a car and is in a hospital with no access to his/her email address.

after 3 days file a "item not paid for" claim THEN ebay will tell you when you can relist.

You only have to wait 2 days, not 3, to file an unpaid item claim. You can set eBay up to do this for you automatically.

Many people are slow payers or deadbeats. You can prevent this entirely by listing fixed price with immediate payment required.
