Is facebook getting to be too much for you? - §Wild Spirit§ - 04-11-2014 08:00 PM
I know it is for me. Too much to keep up with. Too many people that I'm actually not close friends with in real life. Too much time and energy wasted that I will never get back.
I know it has it's good things to it, like staying in touch with close friends and family who you are far away from.... but still, sometimes Facebook is a headache!!

Yeah i know how you feel. As you said, it is good to keep in contact with family and close friends, that is the only reason i still have Facebook and haven't deactivated it.

I use to hate Facebook! Then I just got a new one so I don't have to see all of the annoying posts from people I don't even talk to ! Facebook is still good if you only have your close friends and family as Facebook friends

It totally is. It's pretty superficial. Tried deleting it a few times, but it's hard, because it's also how you can stay in communication with people who are closer than acquaintances. Lord knows what this world is coming to.

just check it once or twice a week or very 2-3 weeks or once a month you can also set privacy settings on which people you want to see more of and less of close friends and family you would want to see more of most likely people who you arent close with and just met a few times you can set on see less of just go to there profile or click the down arrow by there updates to set it up

I agree. I don't spend nearly as much time on there as I used to. I mostly check for messages or important updates. I go on there and all I see is share this, share that, like this, like that, comment this and comment that, and people sending me game and app requests or whatever. I'm tired of it. Plus its a good place to start drama and find out how fake and superficial some people really are.. ..
