go to craiglist, they don't want to make money off the transaction like feebay does.

make more then 1 listing and start LOW
also use the RESERVE option. so basically you can make an auction for 99 cents with a 100 dollar reserve. (so people will look/watch since it's 99 cents, but you will not loose your item for anything less then 100 dollars)
