Fake paypal email help?!? - Chris - 04-12-2014 11:07 AM

Ive recieved a email from pay_pal.services@yahoo.com saying i recieved a payment from thomas W
And to ship the package. As you can see in the picture above that ive included, thats what it also said, just wondering if this is a fake email before i ship my package ( which was sneakers that i was selling ) and dont get my money. Thanks!

Check your account and see if the money is there. But I don't think PayPal would use a yahoo email address. Probably fake.

This Is most likely fake considering it is from pay_pal.services@yahoo.com. Pay pal would have there own email server and not from yahoo. Contact paypal and tell them what happend.

thats fake, the emails should come from @paypal not @yahoo

check your paypal account by going to https://www.paypal.com

log in, check your payment/history and see if the payment is there.

if it's not, contact ebay, keep the email that was sent as they may ask you to forward it to them.

Edit_

$400 for sneakers? did they contact you and say they would buy them?

it's a very common scam, they tell you some story and say they will pay a huge amount for something, ship to some other address/state/country and then they send a fake paypal email.

with such an amount of money, make sure it's all genuine.

does the seller even have any feedback history??

You do NOT ship a package until the money is IN your account period.
