Is it bad to give your first and last name when texting someone because you are inquiring about a product? - Dylan - 04-12-2014 10:25 PM I texted a person from a selling website to ask about their product. I gave out my first and last name because she asked who I was. So she knows my number and name. Is that bad? Isn't it similar to the information on Facebook? - Amy - 04-12-2014 10:34 PM I'd be careful. Knowing your name can lead people to find you on the net and therefore know as much about you as they want. Privacy is a very valuable and precious thing. Just be careful next time. Only give your first name, its more casual that way. There are alot of weirdos out there. |
