No. Interesting question, though.

If Facebook had a thumbs down button, it would like be adding a opportunity for cyber bullying. It could create negative vibes between friends and could even cause break-ups. Lol. You never know. Anyways, pretty much, it would create a negative vibe and environment.

Also, why would a thumbs down button be added for? I can't think of a reason that it would make sense to thumbs down a status or picture. It would be like Yahoo! Answers. Getting a thumbs down when you think you did a great job answering is really self-demotivating. Say you shared something you did today on your status that you're proud of, and then someone thumbs down. Wtf?! What kind of friends are they?!?! -_-

To end this, no, I don't think Facebook should have a thumbs down button.

And to Facebook developers that have read this question and are thinking about it. NO. Just NO.
