[TUMBLR] How to transfer side-blog to another account? - Fleija - 04-13-2014 12:33 PM
I have an account on Tumblr with 2 blogs: my main blog and my secondary blog.
I don't want them both on the same account so I was wondering if I could make another Tumblr account and transfer my secondary blog to the new one.
There are two problems however:
1. I don't know how to do that.
2. If I were to make another Tumblr account won't that automatically create a main blog on that account as well? Then when I transfer my secondary blog it will just be another secondary blog. Thing is I want it to be the only blog on that account, in other words I want my secondary blog to be the main blog on another account.

I want each of my blogs to have their own account.

I'm sorry but I don't think that's possible unless you:
1.) create a new account with a temporary url-so not the one you want to move)
2.) reblog everything from the blog you want to move (there is a post limit so it will take a long time to reblog everything especially if you have over 100 posts)
3.) delete the blog you're moving
4.) change the temporary url on the new account to the one of the one you just deleted
note: this is extremely inefficient-i recommend not doing it unless you have time
