If something on Ebay says a bid of 5$ does it really mean 5$. Im trying to buy this ipod 5th gen off of ebay and it says the highest bit is 4$. So if i bid 5$ will i really pay 5$ for the iPod???

yes but in the last 60 seconds of the auction don;t be surprised if you are over bid about 1000 times.
