Im in grade 10 and i live in indonesia .. I wanted to become a movie director so bad.. and everytime a student reaches grade 11 .. they must choose either science or business stream..Im really confused on what should i pick .. I cant really do science except for biology and i dont really like business but its a lot easier .. Will choosing a stream will affect the chance to go to a film university? i was planning to go to L.A or Arizona.. Will i be using economics or science in film university? An answer will be much appreciated

You honestly have to check to the university itself. I know most of Indonesians do not used to do a thorough research online. But seriously, tried to look up online. Look at the website of the university. Usually, they lists the instruction pretty clear. If it is not clear just email them. They will answer you for sure. However, if you ask the around this time, it takes longer because they are in a busy season to prepare accepting new students for Fall. But just give it a shot, who knows they will answer your question fast enough.
I am not entirely sure, but it does not really matter which stream you choose. Because film/media itself is neither business, nor science. It is more towards arts which Indonesia doesn't have. So, your choice.
The advantage of taking science stream in Indonesian high school is that you get the skill of thinking logically (because you study stuffs like calculus which requires rational and logical thinking).
Being able to think logically is beneficial in any kind of industry you choose.
If u were to choose business (social) stream, u will be more likely having a beautiful life in high school because somewhat it tends to be easier than science in Indonesia. Also if you want to become a movie director with the goal to earn money, you will have the advantage of learning economics, and bookkeeping.
