How much does Ebay charge for listing? - Rob Wylde - 04-15-2014 07:36 AM

I am new to Ebay and have recently just put up 2 items at a fixed rate, but am unsure what fees Ebay takes for listing them? It seems a bit vague, anyone know?
Also, how will I know when I have sold my items, will I be emailed?
Any help would be great, thanks.

Just before you clicked to list, eBay would have told you the fees. Quite often, there is a promotion going on and you pay $0. (Check your account on my ebay.)

When you sell, you will pay 10% in fees to eBay and another 3% to paypal.

Yes, you will get emails. Lots of them.

Ebay inidicates your fees when you list an item.
It is based on the cost of your item and you also get fees when you use upgrade listing feature for you listing.

And just right before you list your item, ebay shows how much it will cost to list that item.

Since you already listed 2 items, go to your ebay summary and check your account. It will show you current fees.

If there was a promotion, listing might be free. You may not have any balance (fees) right now. Your fees will be posted when your item sells.
