Is Facebook's new Chat to Text a scam? - Ray - 10-15-2012 08:57 PM

I recenty recieved the following email from a friend on Facebook.

(You are one of the first people in the world to see this. Facebook Just Launched an MLM/Network Marketing application! Watch the video below that Facebook put together to illustrate how it works:

http://www.chattotext.com/amember/go.php?r=1835&i=l0

How many Facebook members are there?? 15 million + !!!

This is a "set it and forget it" kind of deal. Once you've shared it with your network, see what happens.

I am just sharing something real early with you and other folks will appreciate hearing it from you first.

Be sure to click on the "commission" and put your PayPal info in the box. Get the Affiliate Link and share it with your network first prior to setting up everything else.)

Has anyone heard about this new Chat to Text feauture on Facebook? Im interested in knowing if it's real or if it's a scam.

That's just a pyramid scheme, so don't bother. Might aswell get your friend to just pay you $6 directly.

My friend did that and he said it was cool, he made a little so far... like 100 dollars or something. cool..

I don't like how it sounds and the fact that they ask you for your PayPal account makes it suspicious

I have also already received 3 invitations to join this and doing a little research.
I just read a blog post at

http://socialnetworksites.blogspot.com/

where he is already using this service and seems to really like it. (more for keeping up with his kids in how they prefer to communicate these days)

Looks to me if it was approved by FaceBook and Paypal is comfortable in how they have structured the payout, this just might be the real deal.

Signed up for this today.....paid the $5.99......after payment was confirmed from PayPal, the system crashed and won't let me in. Nice! Oh yah, did I mention that it costs $5.99 per month!!!!! Better get to work!

It's a scam. Facebook just shut it down today. They are trying to get back on but it won't happen. Facebook Terms of Services are clear. It's their web site and they can kick you off for whatever reason they want or even no reason at all. It says so in their terms of services.
