How much should you charge for things at a carboot? - Lauren - 04-15-2014 04:44 PM

what is a rough idea of prices at a carboot? never done one before and don't want to put them too high, or too low and lose out.
thanks

Think what you would be prepared to take for the items and then price a bit higher because most folks will try and knock the price down anyway.

What is a carboot?

people want bargains at a car boot.
Look around the prices the other sellers are asking.

Car boot sales are frequented by many half-witted morons who want something-for-nothing. If you took along a new car and put a price ticket of £1 on it some tosser with a bobble hat and no teeth will offer you 50p.
Similar 'neanderthals' will also be trying to climb into the back of you're car as soon as you arrive'.
Unless you are really desperate give the stuff to a deserving cause and save the 'grief' !
