I have created 2 awesome groups in Facebook. I love craigslist, but in my local area (1 and a half hrs from austin), there is no craigslits for that area, so I created a group on Facebook called Hill Country Swap Shop, Sale & Barter. It took off fast, and the area is comprised of small towns!
Here is the question, the next group I created was for the Austin area. The FB group is called: Austin Metro Swap Shop, Sale, Trade & Barter!( http://www.facebook.com/groups/austinmetroswapshop/) , now this one although fairly new (within a week) only has like 100 people, I want it to grow, how can I market the group to people in the Austin area?

Here in the RGV we have something called FreeCycle - you might want to look into
something along those lines. It seems more suited for people who'd rather give away
unneeded / unwanted possessions to individuals than charity though.
