Im wanting to make a band page (for my band). But i absolutely can't stand Facebook and i don't want to make an account. Im only making the page because its good publicity. I tried today but i was faced with a screen telling me to make an account. does that mean an account only for the page, or an actual personal account? can i still make a page?

You'll have to create a personal account to use to create the page, sorry. The personal account can be something you throw together, that's what I would do, and just use that to create a page off of. This way, you could manage and have easy access to fix and work on the page whenever you need to.
