Using twitter used to be about relationships. Now there is a lot of spam. You can connect with people and have short conversations, then start talking about your product. If you are just going to spam people or post a url, hoping people will click and buy, then you are wasting time. There are people who will try to sell you that idea, that people will click and immediately buy. However, people have to know you before they will buy from you, so use twitter to develop key relationships. Make sure you are not making people tired of you on twitter.
