Why do people on the internet mistaken me for a guy? - Queenstar Amoah - 04-17-2014 06:25 PM

"It's like whenever I'm on dating websites I receive mails in my inbox from guys saying their female friends told them my profile was a man's profile. And on my old facebook account some guy asked me whether I was a male or a female. Also on Yahoo Answers a lot of people call me a drag Queen, and a female with a penis and I hate it. Sometimes I get so angry when they say those things to me. I can assure you that I'm 100% female and nothing else. I don't behave like a boy in any sort of way."
And they also keep calling me a lesbian and a man

I'm not sure, in yahoo answers I would assume your a girl tbh maybe your just attracting it coincidently? the dating site makes sense, some girls are spreading rumors that your a guy and people are blindly believing it. Your old fb account I dunno maybe the guy was just dumb? on yahooanswers your account makes me think your a girl so i dunno why people are saying that. Not everyone thinks the same so don't let it get to you Smile

It's hard to tell people's gender online just by what they type

It might be the way that you are presenting yourself,
Many guys like a 'girly girl' dresses, makeup and all that crap. Guys find random things off putting because they can be perceived as 'masculine' like enjoying playing video games, having pixie cut hair, wearing boyish clothes (why is it so terrible to be a tomboy in this day and age!?), having piercings, enjoying dirt bikes ect.

These things are actually unisex, really but guys can find them off putting. A lot of guys say they want a 'cool' girl who can do cool stuff, but a lot of them only want girlfriends that act like Taylor swift..

That's not to say you should change though, because if you get a boyfriend under the pretence you are a girly girl and are not, you will never see eye to eye and the relationship is bound to fail.
Be yourself, the right guy will come along eventually.. And he will be perfect for you. Ignore the d!ckheads... They are only out to annoy..
