There is lots of talent out there and I wonder why. I see so many developers looking for work. Why not just come up with the next big thing?

because facebook is cancer
learn to make your own website. don't use that bloated site to express yourself and keep in contact with people

Because Facebook is not just code, it's marketing, inertia and being the right thing and the right time. This is why things like Google's Google+ and Apple's Ping fail, and that's despite having had far more money spent on them before launch than Facebook.

because there is already a Facebook why switch over to a new one. Nobody will. Did you not see what happened to Google +. I bet your like whats Google pus. yeah that was a fail.
