Does this shoe website sell legit Nikes? Nikeairmaxvipstore.co.uk - thanks? - James - 04-17-2014 11:57 PM

Hi there, on the website it says shoes are 100% authentic but just want to see what your opinions are because the prices seem to good to be true, thanks

I used scam advisor to check it and it says website is not active which suggests it doesn't sound the greatest of websites. I am not saying it is definitely unsafe it may be. I checked another few websites and it does once again seem to show the website is not legit.

Nike does not allow ANY online retailers but the official site Nike.com to use ANY Nike Trademarks (Nike, Air Max, Jordan, Foamposite, etc) anywhere in their domain name. Any site you find using any of these terms is actually breaking the law - it's called trademark infringement. If the name alone is illegal, then you know there is NO way the shoes are authentic

The site is also breaking the law by failing to provide a registered business address and contact phone number as well as a Companies House or VAT ID number on their home page or Contacts page as required for ALL e-commerce sites in the UK and EU. They are NOT allowed to engage in any sort of e-commerce without providing this information

The site is also breaking the law by using logos for companies like Visa, Paypal, DHL, etc on the bottom of the page without those logos linking to those company websites

That's three red flags right there

Real Nikes are NEVER cheap
