If you delete someone on Facebook, does is still show when you initially became friends? - ThePsychedelicCat - 04-18-2014 11:50 PM

If you delete someone on Facebook, does is still show when you initially became friends?

for example, if i delete/block someone i no longer get along with, will it still show to others on my timeline when I initially became friends with them.. i.e. : ' john doe and jane doe became friends, april 2010' ????????????????

No, it's like a connection, for an example "A" , when there are "A" in section A, section B, and section C, once someone told that "A" need to be cancelled, all the "A" will be gone. Clean. That's all.

No all of that will be gone. If you delete them there comments might still be there on photos and status but if you block them even that will be gone but it won't say when you became friends. If you refriend them it will say the date you added them again not the 1st.

Your Timeline is your Facebook history. You can't erase history. So, even if you unfriend (if this is what you mean when you say "delete") someone, when you became friends should still be in it's original spot. However, if you block that person, there will be no record of that person because that person will cease to exist to you.

The same holds true for any employment or relationship statuses. It happened. You can't get rid of it.
