Top is a person in "charge" during sex, haha so you are on top. The more feminine type are usually bottom (but not always) my wife is feminine but can be rough

A top is someone that only penetrates. A bottom is someone that strictly receives and is penetrated. A power bottom is someone that will move in many ways and move faster and not just lay there. They are very "involved" in what they do as a bottom to satisfy and pleasure their top. Being versatile means they are both a bottom as well as a top.
