Rude facebook requests from MP's? - Mystical Mamba - 10-15-2012 08:59 PM

ahhh! My local MP (yes, labour) is desperately trying to keep his job after the next general election.
He has sent me a 'marketing letter' on house of commons headed paper, and sent me two facebook friend requests (despite the fact I sent him a message saying he was very rude, and I only have facebook friends who are actually friends..)
I do a lot of volunteering in my local town - so I guess he just picks up random names and addresses, but please, it's annoying now (my local paper/rag - the editor is his friend - so wouldn't be interested in my complaint)

any suggestions? this man is truly awful

Ignore him. Jeez, how hard is that? Just click "ignore." He's probably got some staffer doing this, so he's not even aware of who half the people are that he's trying to link with.

He's hardly being "rude." He's using Facebook the way it was designed...as a social networking site.

Just click ignore.

If he harasses you, report him to the site. If reporting gets you nowhere, consider making a myspace or a twitter instead. If he persists, print things, take screen shots and take it up with higher authority. He sounds like he's got nothing better to do with his time. A real loser...

report him. thats the simplest option if he is bothering you.

Report and block him, I dont think there is much else you can do, it's probably not even him but one of his 'underlings' who are getting paid based on how many friends they add for him!

he sent you 1 letter and 2 friend requests, hardly that much to be fair.

Just block him on facebook, then he won't be able to add you
