Changing a profile photo on Facebook without getting rid of the comments/likes? - Alexis R - 04-19-2014 10:44 PM

If anyone's aware of using and posting photos to Tumblr, you know that once you post something, you can go in and change the photo to something else, but still leaving the original post up.

I'm curious to know if there's a way you can do that with a Facebook profile photo. The one I currently have, I found a better version of it that someone else has, that's a lot lighter in color and you can distinguish who's in the photo much clearly. I want to change it to that one, but I don't want to get rid of the likes/comments from this. And I want to know if there's any tech savvy people out there that know if this is a possibility?

Thanks!

Go to in your Facebook account setting and then go to your notification setting and then uncheck all of them. So now you will not be disturbed any more from notification about your profile picture.
