ever since i got my laptop with windows 8, i always had used google chrome with no problem. but, not internet explorer will make random pop up windows that always show up as "not responding". i cant prevent this from happening, just keep exiting out of them. internet explorer is not on my desktop or pinned to my start or anything. and each time i go to start>all apps and end up with the menu that shows all apps, internet explorer is there. i right click and select uninstall, which brings me to the window in the control panel to which i can uninstall my programs. but internet explorer isnt here either. is there any way i can prevent these pop ups and uninstall internet explorer?

Your internet explorer might be corrupted.And the error message frequently pops up and get not responding. That means you should fully uninstall internet explorer from your computer. Normally, it is unavailable to delete IE through Control Panel due to it is not listed there. But you can learn how to completely remove internet explorer in the this article:
