I went to edit my education/work etc. and by accident said to link them to facebook web pages. It condensed all my information and I think took some of the descriptions out so it would be a hyperlink to the web page. I don't want that. How to I reverse this stupid mistake? and is it possible to get back my old description or do I have to rewrite.

Sadly, I think the only way to fix your problem would be to rewrite the old description.
