i just got a nokia white windows phone today and i might bring it with me outside home in public. sometimes i stay out in public for a long time so i want to know if there is wi-fi so i can stay entertained using the internet?

I'm assuming you mean the Nokia Lumia. Most likely your carrier made you purchase a data plan, since it is a smartphone. So, you can use the internet anywhere you get a data connection. Make sure you don't go over your monthly data cap, if you have one.
