Because he's great, also it seems like he been advertised alot on the internet like on facebook and youtube. he inspired alot of people like pearl jam, bono, nirvana, sound garden, the cure and my personal favorite the strokes(the strokes inspired me). and a whole bunch more. Jim Morrison was a great american poet. his voice has this certain feel to it that is hard to explain.

people just cant help but be drawn to him
