By shutting the fuck up due to the fact Twitter was only invented for people who think their lives are worth 24/7 updating, You cant even blog stories on it properly. Its literally for self centered technowannabees who have suddenly decided to join the 21st century

I wouldn't use any cheap shortcuts. Just have funny tweets! don't tweet random crap that goes on in your life, keep them interesting and fun to read! eventually your name will go around and you'll get more followers no problem =)
social networks are about having fun and connecting with friends, don't focus on getting more followers, focus on using it the way it was meant to be used and have fun!
