Is this an eBay scam? - Sean - 04-23-2014 08:38 AM

So I won this auction on eBay for a pair of akg k702 headphones. The deal is pretty good but the thing I'm worried about is in the title it says "akg 702 headphones....nice" then the description is short just saying they work fine, have no original box, but in the description it says "sennheiser 702" which isn't even a headphone. The only consoling thing is that I got her to say in a message through eBay that they were the akg k702 and that they work fine So I have something else to show eBay if it is a scam. Plus she has 100% feedback of 102 people. I'm not sure if just the brand name change from the title to the description should be a big deal or not. The main thing I'm worried is if its a loophole so I couldn't get a PayPal return. Any help is appreciated, thanks!(:

If its too good to be true then it isn't probably. Check the descripion for no flaws. If u feel bad cancel da order

Sounds like your covered. I wouldn't worry. Ebay usually errs on the side of the buyer. The seller has to prove it is real not the buyer. Her feedback sounds good too.

I found you ebay auction. I wouldn't worry. If you read her feed back as a seller she sold stuff worth way more than this with good results.

Yes I would be a bit careful. There are many fake feedback scores. Can you cancel your order?

The description body is the main thing rather than the title because they can write a misleading title to draw attention then say something different below. What did the photo's look like?

You can always call ebay for better advice on this sellers item.
