My website has almost no image tags or titles, is this bad. Does it affect my rankings? I feel like it doesn't matter, but when I SEO my website, it says that this "x" many numbers of images do not have tags or titles. Should I add titles and tags to my images, videos, and hyperlinks?

Some believe that image search traffic is not very valuable anyway, and perhaps a nuisance.

Yes. this is must have. i will explain.
i run several b2c website. and ranking is well. the imgs traffic is around 20% of my total traffic and it is more ''targeting' traffic. when google spider the img, it will read the words around imgs. That is a description to let google id it which is means. In this way, google will know the imgs means and find the keywords to rank it. And the imgs containing hyperlinks is more important that the one which is not. So add them to your imgs.
