I am looking for a software in which I can just pick an image of an item and select a quantity. That software would then write an excel sheet with the item number of every picture and their respective quantity. please help!

It's not clear in what context the images are selected, but I can comment that it sounds a lot like standard ecommerce web site Shopping Cart software that stores the selections in an SQL database on the server.
Perhaps searching shopping cart code will lead somewhere...
