003-1099 Error Code on my 3DS? - Michelle - 04-24-2014 10:05 PM

I got Pokemon Y a few weeks ago and when I first connected my 3DS to my router, it worked fine with no problems at all. The past few days however, no matter what I try to do, I always get the 003-1099 error code (states that there is no access point in range) even though all of my other wireless devices work fine and it was working the last month or so. I've tried sitting close to the router and restarted it, with my DS occasionally picking up the access point before losing it again a few minute later.

Most of the time, the access point doesn't even appear on the list.

I've tried manually entering all of the information with same error code popping up many times, and I'm SURE that I'm typing in the right SSID and everything.

Can anyone help me? ;-;

If you've got an old router you'll find it struggles with lots of devices hooked up. They weren't originally made to have a lot of devices connected (we nnow have laptops, multiple computers, iPhones, iPads etc..)

I would see if disconnecting other devices from your internet helps its performance, I had to do the same with mine.
