I can't put in a favicon on my Wordpress site.? - tanay - 04-25-2014 06:38 PM I am trying to add in a favicon or that little icon next to the webs tie address. I read that I need to install a plugin for this favicon. BUT THERE IS NO PLUGIN ON MY ADMINISTRATIVE PANEL!!! look at this picture: http://codex.wordpress.org/images/d/da/plugineditor.png and then look at the picture attached. On my panel, there is no plugin thing. PLEASE HELP!!!! And I have also heard of the blavatar, I did that and it does not work?? - Nik - 04-25-2014 06:45 PM As you are using WordPress.com for hosting, it looks like you will need to go with the "Blavatar" method. Go to Settings -> General and look for "Blog Picture/Icon" where you can upload the image you want to use. You can see all the instructions at: http://en.support.wordpress.com/avatars/blavatars/ You will have more control over your blog if you purchase your own hosting (and domain). |
