I was scrolling through the millions of profiles on Okcupid and instantly admired one profile who was 10 years older. I'm not sure what it was about this person's appearance but it definitely got my attention. For a few days I just looked at his profile and didn't bother to message him first because I was too nervous. Eventually after reviewing his profile and pictures for three days, I went ahead and gave him five stars, which indicates my interest in him.
Seconds later, I get a message in my inbox and it's from him. I'll name him Henry for convenience. The message was very long and well thought out. (It wasn't one of those short liners with a cheesy pick up line) Obviously, this made me like him even more.
I messaged him back and he messaged me back and then I messaged him back (all in one day).
Then the next day, he initiated a chat with me through the site. Everything was going very well and as a previous skeptic of online dating, I found myself really enjoying Henry's virtual company.
Eventually, he suggested we become facebook friends, so the chats could go smoother. Innocently, I agreed and we began chatting for a little.
THEN, a week later I get a message from him saying that he won't be online anymore because he finds it distracting. Better yet, I find out that he blocked me. Obviously, this felt like a stab to the heart. But I'm so confused as to why I was blocked. I don't believe I did anything wrong.
Why do you think he blocked me?

AHHH YOU KNOW HE'S POSSIBLY MARRIED AND THE WIFEY FOUND IT.. AND THATS WHY HE'S BLOCKED YOU.

He blocked you because he is an *****. You did nothing wrong except falling for ANYONE ON THE COMPUTER IS DANGEROUS! A girlfriend of mine had her on- line relationship ask her for 200$ so he could visit her. What? Anyone can be anyone on line and be after something else so be careful.
