“Keywords” in my resume....? - Thomas - 04-26-2014 08:34 AM

What are “Keywords” And how do I use them in my resume?

- Jake - 04-26-2014 08:38 AM

In the internet world they are search phrases that are incorporated in content to attract desirable visitors, Lose Weight is one example with lots of competition.

Someone might be describing some sort of trigger hot words for HR departments to see, like Innovative, Proactive, Leadership?

Avoid the Clichés.

Avoid phrases that are heavily used and profanely abused. This will elevate your resume among the others. Avoid the phrases such as:
Responsible for
Experienced in
Excellent written communication skills
Team Player
Good Leadership Skills
Detail-oriented
Successful
Meticulous to details

it's not what your asking for but you might want to consider that advice. have a great day! Smile
