Can someone please invent a car insurance ad blocker? - AL - 04-26-2014 01:12 PM

I hate their hundreds of annoying ads all day every day 24/7 everywhere you look. I would pay top dollar.

I don't see that, they have an "Ad Retargeting" system that seems to stalk you effectively inviting you back to some car insurance site you may have briefly visited. Those particular ads can be stopped by deleting the browser cookie that the original site has placed. Deleting all cookies works, but you might lose some shorts in sites you use, if you can find and look through your cookies you might recognize the site name.

Many banner ads have a self regulating Adchoice arrowhead button, clicking it allows you to 'opt out' of a particular ad campaign or ad network.

It you are indeed flooded by ads, you could have an adware virus infection hijacking your browser, they can be picked up in browser plugins or video driver downloads.
