How do I deactivate my domain name after my hosting site is closed? - Le E De Dame - 04-26-2014 01:24 PM

I recently closed my hosting service and I do not assess to my old domain control panel. How do I removed my private information and deactivate my domain name after my hosting site is closed?

The hosting service has probably already deleted everything.

20/20 hindsight, you were supposed to have deleted anything you wanted to delete before you dropped access, but I'm not criticizing because there's may have been reasons why you didn't/couldn't.

The domain -name- is open season 'a while' after the end of the registration. The reason I say a while is that most registrars hold them for a while in case the owner really does want it back even if you've dropped hosting.

The best thing you can do is call the host and ask all these questions in detail.
