can someone please explain wat this faceboook thing is? also, my name on the site is 'stevie wonder' how do i change that? thats the name that comes up when one does a class search. - most people have thier first an last name - but i never put names down, jus me nickname was there. help?

Facebook is a social networking website. It was originally developed for college and university students but has since been made available to anyone with an email address. People may then select to join one or more participating networks, such as a high school, place of employment, or geographic region.
In your case, you can go to the profile settings and change your name. Once you go to the settings you can play with any details or even modify your privacy settings.
Personally, it's good to take a look at the privacy settings casue they might be really important for your personal life.
