People can still trace your IP address when you select the anonymous feature. And I wasn't looking to send hate mail. I just want to avoid feeling awkward when I really like someone and compliment them or ask personal questions.

Be aware that if you send hate or disgusting or similar mail, the recipient can ask Tumblr who you are.
