received this message disable compatibility view in Internet explorer? - Sandie - 04-27-2014 03:49 AM

internet explorer 8,9, and 10 include a compatibility view, which makes your browser work like an older version of internet explorer. if this view is turned on it can cause display problems with tabs, and interactive features on Yahoo. What does this mean and is this real? Now when i try to download pictures from my email it says there is a threat. Help

hi Sandie, what would be the best to do is to choose which one that you want then download it again sometimes with computers once they got it well it works but in your case the download did not go through for some reason. if you download it again it will automatic send you the updates that you need then what I recommend is go to control panel and hit the internet options icon there delete your history and cookies under the general tab. then go to performance information and tools there hit property and defragment. if you have vista or windows xp than hit start>performance>accessory>system tools there you will find defragment. what this is keeping your computer well maintained. good luck I hope I was helpful to you
