Google play store/package file is invalid? help!? - Irma - 04-27-2014 06:03 AM I just purchased my samsung galaxy s2 two days ago, and i downloaded facebook, twitter, tumblr and i tried downloading instagram when i tried i got a "package file is invalid" error, also when i tried downloading vine. last night i successfully installed instagram, but it kept turning off my phone when i tried to make a video, so i uninstalled it and now it wont let me install it, AGAIN. it still keeps saying package file is invalid, what can i do? should i just keep trying to install it like yesterday? also, i have boost moble if that helps. thank you! - Big Poppa - 04-27-2014 06:16 AM I just had this trouble with instagram. I tried it like 10 times. I turned off Wi-Fi and it installed on the 2nd try. - Conni Eshenbaugh - 04-27-2014 06:17 AM Google Store is having an world wide issue; the last update they had is causing this issue. They are trying to have it fixed soon. - Kasun! - 04-27-2014 06:28 AM These days there's an issue on the Google server (with the latest Google play app update). Therefore you will receive a random package file invalid issue. You can fix it by using a free VPS service app, apart from that in my situation, after I purchase my SGS4, I face this issue. Then I done a factory reset, after that this issue gone. Google also know this issue and they mention they will fix it ASAP, but there's no any ETA (https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/3300875?hl=en) |
