There are many low cost basic bluray players on Amazon.com.

I don't think any of them don't support at least a wired Internet connection now. I recommend a factory refurbished or open box Panasonic, Sony or Samsung.

All three brands are known for their quality and their factory refurbished models are very inexpensive as are their open box models from sites like Amazon Warehouse deals.

I currently own one factory refurbished Samsung Blu-ray player, two factory refurbished Sony Blu-ray players and I have purchased for others factory refurbished Panasonic Blu-ray players.

I have never had any issues reported for any of them. You can usually get them for under $50. If you're looking for entry-level, that's your best bet as opposed to buying a brand-new el cheapo junk brand.

Many of the daily deal sites carry these.
