I get a rotating spin too but nothing else happens.

Yahoo has a toolbar for Firefox, Internet Explorer and Google Chrome.
In my opinion, the only stable Yahoo toolbar is the one for Firefox.
You should avoid the Yahoo toolbar for IE.
There is no way to report Yahoo toolbar problems.
