It's a campaign where you setup and give something for Free and in return, the subscriber can get points by sharing with their friends, posting on social medias or refer friend. This will create a viral chain effect and that's why it's call a viral ad campaign.

Its strategic introduction of the concept through multiple platforms like news,popular website,stage-shows,social-networking and other mediums to make everyone aware of your concept.
Social networking plays big role in this as the concept is spread quickly among peers and everyone gets interest in this. After decent popularity, news mediums introduces advt as highly popular. This raises curiosity of more people as they want to find out whats going on !

It simply means that the ad is so good that most people who watch it, instantly recommend it to their friends for viewing and in no time most of the country has seen that advert.
