what is FB impaction? - Rie - 04-27-2014 10:46 PM I have FB impaction in 2 of my wisdom teeth and I'd like to know what it is. The other 2 are partial in bone impaction and soft tissue impaction. And if someone puts "Facebook" your answer will be marked as spam. - RxSmile - 04-27-2014 10:51 PM rie, it seems like FB stands for full bony impaction. That essentially means your wisdom teeth are completely covered with bone all the way around the tooth. This makes removing the tooth a little more difficult b/c the oral surgeon will need to remove some bone to gain access to the tooth to wiggle it out. Hope that helps! |
