Has anyone bought books/textbooks from these users? How reliable are they? I need one ASAP and the cheapest is from them.

You should be fine with a new just launched seller. Amazon verifies seller's information so there will be a penalty for the seller if he doesn't follow through as he is supposed to. If you need the book immediately though, stop over at a local bookstore.
