Will Samsung phones like the S4 & Note 3 lag after 2-4 years? - Ashar - 04-27-2014 10:53 PM

I'm planning on buying a Samsung Galaxy Note 3, for school; taking notes, browsing the web, research as well as Social media, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snap chat.
So I've heard a lot of mixed review about Samsung phones and touchwiz, Some people love it

And others hate it. I do not want a phablet that will fail me in the next 4 years, I need a powerful but pocket able device.
I also plan on buying a Bluetooth keyboard for the occasional word document.
I don't want a tablet, since I need a Phone & a Tablet.
So will the Note 3 stay fast and snappy? Or will it fail in a couple of years?

Samsung has proved its quality by Market Research its the best deal.

Maybe, it depends upon the way you use it. the ability to handle future updates and a whole other reasons too. But iPhone does not start to lag. thats what makes people use iPhone for several years but see less people use a Samsung phone for years

Root the phone after your warranty period is over, then you can keep its performance same as ever. note is a good phone, you wont get disappointed. good luck.

I have a Note 2 and it is certainly no slouch. I had a Note originally which I gave to my other half, and it is still going strong.
Don't let the Haters tell you otherwise. People say that Apple are better quality, yet I have a drawer here with 5 iPhone 4S' which are non functioning.
You could also look at the Galaxy mega or the Sony Xperia Z Ultra which is a seriously BIG phone but has the Sony Build Quality.

Depends on how will you use it. If I were to buy these smartphones. I would also buy a 64 gb memory card so that it will not go to the phone memory. I also recommend you to regularly Clear the data on the web browser so it will not lag. I would consider not to root the note 3 as it doesn't even improve anything at all. Also, DO NOT DOWNLOAD apps like battery saver apps cause it only de-stabilizes the system.
